Our Mission and Reform Agenda
Education’s Next Horizon is a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to PreK-12 education improvement. Our mission is two-fold: (1) to help frame the debate for comprehensive system-wide PreK-12 education reform and (2) to connect our leadership—education, business and community—as a force supporting school improvement.
We exist as a platform for partnerships – a place to build networks between education, and business leaders with a common passion to improve PreK-12 education. We believe that we needs a sustainable organization that transcends education factions. Our purpose is to build an education system to “help each child reach his/her potential.” Education’s Next Horizon was formed to change the question that governs the interaction between education leadership and the community as a whole from “What can you do for us?” to “What can we do together to educate all children well?”
Our state’s mission in PreK-12 education is to raise student achievement for all children, eliminate the achievement gap, and enable all children to be effective citizens in the global marketplace. In complex and challenging times, we cannot expect the education community to bear sole responsibility for the vision. We are all responsible.
We also offer information all about coffee. This includes advice on buying the best coffee beans, coffee machines, coffee accessories and much more so you can brew the perfect cup of coffee at home. For instance, you can buy Delonghi coffee machines also known as ديلونجي for amazing coffee at home.
Filling the Middle Skills Gap
The capacity to build a capable middle skilled workforce continues to be plagued by years of (a) inadequately funded education policies and programs, (b) lack of appropriate or necessary policies, and (c) failure to lift all boats by ensuring an excellent education for historically disadvantaged children. Persistent gaps in education equity, access, and excellence are hindering economic progress
Our efforts to improve schools are challenged by high poverty, natural catastrophe, and high levels of adult illiteracy. These are long-term conditions requiring long-term solutions. The reform agenda of Education’s Next Horizon focuses on four issues that, if effectively addressed, will close the achievement gap and better prepare students to succeed.
- Early Childhood Education
- Filling the Skills Gap
- College & Career Readiness
- Teacher Effectiveness
